I began my career in hair over 20 years ago. I started with a two year apprenticeship at Appearances Salon in Oklahoma City. Moving to Dallas, I continued my education at Dama Salon before going out on my own. I have been a studio stylist ever since. I have continued with advanced education from Matrix, Redken, Sebastian, Paul Mitchell and enjoy attending hair shows annually for additional inspiration.
I believe communication with the client is very important. I want to work with my client to achieve the perfect style for her/him. I take into account the person's lifestyle, ability to work with their own hair, and their personality when designing a style for that client. I feel I have a unique ability to look at you, see what's needed, and bring forth the best in your personal style.
I truly believe in the Art of Color. I am a color specialist. I love dimensional color on my clients - color that looks like you were born with it. I strive to give each client a color that is designed to look great while keeping the maintenance at a minimum.
I love my work. I believe the salon experience should be enjoyable and relaxing while often times, we just have plain old fun. Come see me and let me work my art on your hair!
